Storytelling has always been so much more to me than a career to pursue or my name on the billboards. It's been a lifeboat. The one constant in my life that has anchored me down and brought me back to a purpose that I need to fulfill. I strive to make my purpose actualized everywhere I bring my work; whether it be in an audition room, collaborating with others on set, or my poetry and writing. The healing powers of art, creativity, and storytelling has been proven time and time again throughout history. Where art and creativity is alive in a community, growth and prosperity is possible. My own personal story is living proof of the alchemic effect of art, if we didn't already have enough of that conviction already. If I can touch lives in my own community, and from there spread to other communities, my purpose will be fulfilled.
